The Challenge

We’re searching for an FP&A Intern to join our team on London on a 54-week placement, commencing in July 2023!

This is an exciting opportunity to build knowledge from a global entertainment perspective, where you will help to manage our IPs with both physical retailers and digital online partners. This Global role will require working with different sales and strategy teams across EMEA, APAC and AMER’s, and enable you to gain understanding of the financial planning and reporting requirements in a global setting.

What You’ll Take On

  • Gain a strong understanding of the video games industry, awareness of Sales and promotional planning and use this within the role

  • Support the FP&A planning processes and calendar of forecasts, budgets and reporting, preparing materials used in quarterly meetings with Labels

  • Opportunity to contribute to the weekly forecast updates for several titles

  • Provide internal weekly performance analysis

  • Review accuracy of varying forecasting methodologies and propose new forecasting techniques

  • Monitor market pricing to help recognise trends across different titles, platforms and over particular sales periods

  • Independently perform Competitor Analysis

  • Co-ordinate with our Digital sales teams to optimise sales promotions and help analyse effectiveness of promotions

  • Support the design and development of reports and dashboards using data visualisation tool Tableau

  • Maintain Pricing Matrices used in forecasting

  • Review physical sell through reporting accuracy

  • Build and maintain good working relationships within the team and other departments that we work closely with including Sales, Strategy, Accounting and Operations

  • Develop a good understanding of our IT systems; JDE, OBI, Anaplan, Tableau

  • Become a proactive team player

  • Project work – During the year the candidate will complete at least one in depth project

What You Bring

  • High standard of oral and written communication

  • Attention to detail

  • Must be proficient to advanced level in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of forecasting techniques and price elasticity

  • Numerical, analytical and able to report results and conclusions

  • A team player who can also take responsibility for their own work

  • Able to collaborate with others to achieve end goals

  • Have a proactive and flexible attitude, with a creative approach to problem solving

  • A knowledge of/interest in games would be an advantage
