It’s an exciting time to join our team. We're one of the largest Danish gaming companies and we have been scaling fast in the last few years. With our teams growing and expanding, we have now found ourselves in need of a more structured and functional dashboard with a better UI.

As a Frontend Engineer at Tactile Games, you will be responsible for integrating our new dashboard designs and tools as we move from AngularJS to ReactJS. Our dashboard is very technical and is used by the whole company to work on games and marketing activities. In this position you will work closely with our product designer, technical writer and backend engineers. It is therefore a big plus if you are either familiar with backend development or are interested in digging a little deeper into the backend server code when needed.

The perfect fit for this role is passionate about building innovative solutions using modern technologies within a flat and collaborative company culture. You will have the freedom and flexibility to work in your own way, but sharing knowledge and ideas is highly encouraged! Full responsibility and ownership of your projects, you will be a key part of our continuing growth.

This is a full-time position, available now and based on-site in our Copenhagen office.

Your general responsibilities will be to:

  • Implement new features and tools for our dashboard
  • Make high quality UI components
  • Maintain the existing code base
  • Work closely together with our backend engineers/designers
  • Take over responsibility from implementation to deployment
  • Bring up your own ideas to shape our product and actively search for requests and feedback from the product team

What we're looking for:

  • Strong experience with frontend fundamentals and building scalable applications and libraries on top of those
  • 3+ years of experience in frontend development with ReactJS
  • Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and Typescript
  • Knowledge of Redux
  • Knowledge of Jest
  • Good understanding of using design patterns to create reusable components for complex UIs
  • Experience with working on engineer/designer workflows (maybe you have built internal tools or made a Sketch plugin before?)

Nice to haves:

  • MaterialUI
  • Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
  • CI/CD (we use CircleCI)
  • Experience with responsive web designs
  • An interest in backend development
