The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for building social strategy and day to day management of T1’s social channels for our Western audience. The ideal candidate is creative, reactive, and able to oversee social campaigns from ideation to execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Help produce short video content and photography, create memes, banter, graphics, and digital assets across all major social media platforms to drive engagement and brand awareness
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices for each platform on which T1 has a significant presence, in addition to social trends, in-jokes, and the like
  • Assist with community management, engagement, and moderation across various platforms
  • Execute partnership and sponsorship obligations across all social platforms
  • Aggregate, track, and report on viewership metrics and other KPI’s, especially as they relate to branded partnerships, sales, and performance of social initiatives
  • Contribute to the creative development of team content and social-first initiatives
  • Communicate live match coverage for major tournaments in which T1 has a presence through clipping in-game highlights, scorecards, and other creative methods

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of running social accounts and strategy or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly creative thinker with exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Able to perform well under pressure, handle rapid changes in schedule, and crisis management from a PR perspective
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a high volume workload
  • Proficiency in social and community platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Discord, and Reddit
  • Familiarity with competitive VALORANT, FGC, and League of Legends communities
  • Familiarity if not proficiency with Adobe Suite
  • Familiarity with social media publishing platforms such as Hootsuite or Sprout
  • Korean language fluency not necessary but highly desirable
