A Little Bit About Swipe Right PR

We’re a fast growing London-based agency specialising in video games and technology. We manage global consumer campaigns in exciting sectors such as VR and esports, launching games and hardware, managing conferences, working with prolific YouTubers and running tournaments. We need someone amazing to help us build, maintain and grow the reputation of our clients. We all work from home 70% of the time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Researching forward features, compiling and maintaining features lists and editorial calendars, monitoring conference and exhibition schedules for client profile opportunities
  • Assisting with client campaign planning
  • Assisting with effectively implementing all aspects of a media relations programme – pitching stories, organising interviews, event management support, photography shoots, press release distribution, tracking and collating coverage
  • Assisting with the day to day administration of client accounts, maintenance of filing systems, creation and maintenance of coverage/clippings reports
  • Scheduling team/client meetings/conference calls as directed by the team Account Manager/Director, and ensuring agendas are created and delivered in advance. Taking meeting minutes and issuing post-meeting reports/actions
  • Ensuring client reports are completed and delivered on time
  • Assisting with the creation of story pitches, press releases, case studies and articles
  • Maintenance of press and analyst databases

What We Are Looking For

  • PR work experience / Placement Year / Graduate Experience
  • A natural interest in video games and technology. Esports knowledge is a bonus!
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills
  • A good understanding of the media landscape, including digital media
  • A highly creative and proactive self-starter
  • Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Drive, competence, flexibility and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to cope with pressure

Working hours

As we all work remotely and are flexible with our working hours. Typically we operate 9am to 6pm but so long as you get the work done, we advocate a work smart policy, you won’t be rewarded for doing long hours, but you will be for getting shit done. On special occasions we may need you to work weekends and evenings, especially for events.

Qualifications

No set qualifications are required, ideally educated to degree level with one year experience, but at the end of the day, what’s really important is an interest in what we do and the sectors we operate in who can hit the ground running.
