Swarmio Media is disrupting the rapidly growing esports community, allowing global telecommunications providers to better cater to and monetize the gaming community with their distributed edge computing platform. With a robust pipeline of international customers in 2021, the Swarmio team seeks the talents of a seasoned Project Manager who can lead enterprise solution delivery while continually improving internal processes and customer experience.

Ideally with a background in Project Management in the telco or gaming industries. Working directly with customers, the successful candidate will plan and manage the work, report status and progress to Swarmio’s Service Delivery team, manage communications with key project stakeholders as well as industry partners.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage with the project team to develop the project management plan, including the project schedule, budget, and define and mitigate project risks
  • Work with the project team to ensure on time, on budget, and quality delivery of the project milestones and deliverables
  • Engage with the project team to manage the project risk by identifying risks items and developing and executing corresponding risk response actions at appropriate times during the project
  • Manage and continually communicate with key project stakeholders.
  • Escalate issues as appropriate in a timely fashion to internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage projects in a way that continually develops the project team’s skills, expertise, and experience
  • Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation
  • Ensuring resource availability and allocation to tasks and projects, including liaison with other departments and programs to secure specialized resources for the program
  • Oversee the planning, execution, control and closing of projects.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule and costs

Required Qualifications:

  • Five plus years of experience managing large projects
  • PMP certification or equivalent
  • Strong written and oral communications skills (Arabic a bonus)
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse team of skilled people, leading by example
  • Respect for and sensitivity to international cultures

Other desirable attributes:

  • Experience with Project Management tools such as JIRA
  • Service delivery knowledge/experience e.g. ITIL, ITSM
  • Experience / familiarity interfacing with payment processors
  • Knowledge of Agile Devops environment
  • Ability to think outside the box
