We are looking for a Senior Game Tester to work with our teams to ensure the successful delivery of our games.

The core aspects of the role are to:

Ensure we provide reliably stable builds on a daily basis
Work with the dev team to test new features as they are implemented
Execute regression tests to validate that changes do not adversely affect existing features
Methodically recreate bugs and provide information to the dev team to assist with fixing problems
Report defects to the company standard and maintain database integrity
Create Test Plans and Scripts for manual execution by external and internal test groups
Assist in running automation and validation tests and reviewing results.
Onboard new QA team members onto projects.

Requirements

Key skills and experience

2+ years’ experience in Functional Games QA
Working as part of a team and the ability to communicate well with programmers, artists and other specialists
Experience working with development teams in an embedded capacity.
Excellent communication skills
Experience with Jira

Desirable experience

Experience of using defect tracking tools and systems
Experience executing structured test plans, especially smoke and regression tests
Experience of working as an embedded games tester located with a development team
Testing games on a variety of platforms, such as PC, PS4, Xbox One.
Testing games built using the Unreal Engine
Understanding of or exposure to a variety of testing methodologies
