Role Description

You will be responsible for identifying and closing new opportunities across the games and media verticals for SuperAwesome’s technology to enable under-13/COPPA engagement.

The role involves maintaining an excellent understanding of the SuperAwesome’s Cloud solution (Kids Web Services), general product strategy, roadmap, and adjacent sales pipeline to identify opportunities where SuperAwesome can bring significant business value to new and existing customers.

The role involves understanding challenges which the customer may have around the issue of under-16 engagement and crafting a solution and strategy based around SuperAwesome’s suite of products.

It is expected that your deal pipeline will be constructed in three ways;

  • Through your own network, identify customer opportunities and conduct discovery exercises.
  • Partnering with members of the executive team who are in strategic discussions or reacting to inbound inquiries
  • Partnering with the Sales and Marketplace team during their sales cycle to conduct additional customer discovery

Responsibilities

  • Driving the adoption of SuperAwesome technology across all companies in the relevant verticals who are building under-16 engagement strategies, services and applications
  • Prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads through your own network as well as outreach efforts
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline that will allow you to drive revenue growth in our cloud-based business
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, sales, consulting teams to create solutions that increase the platform's value
  • Feedback into the product and sales team’s knowledge, methodologies and customer-facing collateral and roadmap
  • Manage and build deeper relationships with top customers that deliver true value to their businesses

Requirements

Experience

  • 5+ years selling a solutions-based technology offering (such as analytics, CRM, development platform) in the video games, mobile gaming space OR having Business Development/Partnerships roles that were heavily external-facing
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex deals across technical and commercial challenges as well as multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Proven network across video games, mobile apps, social and digital media sectors in the EMEA market (i.e Unity, Google, Apple, Unreal Engine, Amazon, etc.)
  • Networking at conferences and building relationships in the industry

  • Operate in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for driving multiple customer opportunities in parallel
  • Willingness to hustle and do the dirty work to build a business from the ground up
  • Balance of business and technology acumen, including the ability to articulate high-level technical solutions to business problems and to tie your solutions to success criteria.
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills, including the ability to create clear observations, analysis and conclusions based on customer interviews and data.
  • Excellent customer facing skills with experience presenting to and achieving buy-in from senior executives (managers, directors, VPs, CMOs, and CXOs).
  • Team player who can collaborate with multiple stakeholders to arrive at the best solution.
  • Willingness to travel
