Undergraduate Placement Sounds Designer 2021/22

Are you currently in your second year at University and keen to work on development of one of our games?

Sumo Digital are delighted to announce the return of our paid Sound Design Undergraduate Placement Scheme for the academic year 2021/22

The scheme offers a fantastic opportunity for talented students to spend a year working as sounds designers on our live projects, a great chance to improve your skills on a real project. We highly value the contribution that exceptional, undergraduate talent bring to our studio, many of our placement students have returned to work for us permanently after graduation.

Sumo's Sound Design placement scheme is open to Sound Design undergraduates at any university who require an industrial placement in their third year.

To be considered, applicants must have a passion for video game sound design with an exceptional show reel showcasing their sound design skills. This placement is specifically sound design based, we will not accept music portfolios.

There are opportunities at our Sheffield studio. Please state clearly on your application the start and end dates required for your placement.
