The role @ Sumo

Sumo Sheffield is looking for a Technical Designer to join our talented design team on an exciting new project!

Within this role you will:

  • Help execute the game vision.
  • Work with the other designers to provide support on game systems.
  • Create quick prototypes for testing new gameplay ideas and features.
  • Deliver quality work within schedule and any technical limitations.
  • Provide bug support for other designers.

You need to have:

  • Technically skilled, with knowledge of main stream engines, UE4, Unity etc…
  • Self-motivated towards solving creative problems and technical challenges.
  • Clear and concise communication.
  • 2 years experience working as a Technical Designer

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience with different game engines, e.g. UE4, Unity, Lumberyard, CryEngine.
  • Interest in 3D platform/puzzle games and experience of the latest games in this genre.
