The role @ Sumo
We are opening an exciting new role to oversee and support the Sheffield Studio Facilities and Admin functions, and development and roll out of group Central Admin procedures and processes to align and improve efficiencies in day-to-day operations at group studios.

Your group-wide responsibilities will include:

    • Development and roll out of Group central admin procedures and processes to align and improve efficiencies in day-to-day operations across all Group studios.
    • Close working relationship with Office Managers across the Group on matters of central admin; responsible for ensuring collaboration and good relationships between all studio locations.
    • Working closely with department and studio heads throughout the business to explore and identify any other areas that would benefit from a group-wide approach.
    • Working closely with the Group Internal Audit Manager to develop and roll out new Group admin policies.

Your local Sheffield studio responsibilities will include:

    • Responsible for the Sheffield studio Facilities and Admin budgets.
    • Day to day management of the Sheffield Admin team via the Admin Manager, Facilities team and Sheffield studio Executive Assistant.
    • Management (via Admin Manager where applicable) of the Sheffield studio specific facilities and office contracts including on site catering (Milestones), office supplies, events, maintenance and cleaning.
    • Work closely with the Group EHS and Facilities Coordinator to ensure the Sheffield studio is safety compliant.
    • Organising local safety training and documentation.
    • Provide or arrange cover for Sheffield and Group Executive Assistants where required.

To be successful you will have:

    • Strong management experience
    • Ability to manager own workload and confidently juggle conflicting priorities
    • Ability to spot opportunities to improve processes and deliver those changes
    • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
    • Experience working in a similar role in previous employment
    • Ability to work well under pressure and to be flexible where required
