The fantastic HR team is expanding and we're excited to be recruiting for a HR Advisor to join our team and contribute to our continued growth. We're a lovely team made up of our recruiting team, our L&D team and our HR Generalist team in which this role sits. If this role sounds like the next job for you, get your application in. Within this role you will

  • Provide confidential advice, support and guidance to employees and Line Managers.
  • Facilitate, support and attend informal and formal meetings with Line Managers and employees as required.
  • Support the effective management of the employee life cycle, ensuring it is driving engagement and retention.
  • Effectively manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring a timely, thorough and positive experience.
  • Actively contribute to the development of line management skills and knowledge in managing the employment relationship
  • Provide HR training on either an individual or collective basis as and when required.
  • Work with the HR Administrator ensuring all employee administration is completed accurately.
  • Oversee payroll processing on a monthly basis, ensuring any additional payments or deductions have been added.
  • Provide management information/reports on a routine and ad-hoc basis.
  • In conjunction with the wider HR team, be responsible for updating and creating HR forms and templates, processes and policies, ensuring quality, continual compliance with legislation and effective communication.
  • Identify areas of improvement, opportunity and innovation.
  • Contribute to and/or lead project work as requested/agreed within the HR Management team.
  • Provide support to the HR Manager & ensure they are kept up to date will all matters of importance.
  • Maintain employee data/records, ensuring they are accurate, kept up to date in a timely manner and stored in line with HR policy and GDPR regulations.
  • Provide cover when necessary for other members of the HR team.
  • Act as a mentor to more Junior members of the HR team.
  • Any other duties as required.

What you need to have

  • Minimum Level 5 CIPD Qualified.
  • A good level of previous practical HR experience, ideal within a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Some previous HR advisory experience.
  • MS Office experience – Word/Excel/Outlook.
  • HR/Payroll Systems experience.
  • A data and fact based decision maker.
  • the natural ability to treat people with respect, always with a friendly and approachable style.
  • A pride in your work, looking for better ways of getting results.
