As our organisation grows we are increasingly relocating our people and our new hires. As such, we're planning to recruit an experience Global Mobility Manager t o facilitate efficient and high value global mobility processes, and to develop strategies to enable smooth mobility for our existing people and new hires across our existing and future global locations.

Within this role you will:

  • Be the subject matter expert for all matters related to global mobility and will be responsible for partnering and providing guidance to the business, Human Resource and Recruitment as appropriate.
  • Develop relocation provision and ensure our people and new hire’s needs are met during their move.
  • Support and coach the business, HR and Recruitment on complex case management where applicable.
  • Consult and advise on all technical and compliance aspects of Global Mobility for example individual and Firm’s tax and immigration, liaising with relevant subject matter experts as necessary.
  • Has responsibility for ensuring excellent service delivery to internal clients, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Has responsibility for driving improved satisfaction scores through surveying, monitoring the transactional delivery of cases.
  • Create and ensure compliance with in-house Global Mobility policy across the team.
  • Project manage and drive Global Mobility priorities aligned to the business strategy.
  • Work closely with GM counterparts around the world to ensure a smooth assignment experience, advising and coaching as necessary.

To be successful you will:

  • You must have experience in mobility, tax, and immigration.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt as new priorities surface.
  • HR experience within a global corporate environment.
  • Technical knowledge of immigration law and a sound understanding of immigration risks and best practice.
  • Experience conducting immigration compliance audits.
  • Knowledge of developing and managing relocation provision
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working in a complex matrix environment.
  • Proven experience of managing multiple cases/projects simultaneously and independently.
  • Experience resolving complex immigration issues independently and taking ownership in unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances.

It would be great if you also have experience with:

  • A history working within HR teams in order to deliver shared business objectives.
  • Experience working with immigration laywers and managing those relationships.
  • Strong numeracy, analytical and spreadsheet skills with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working in a complex matrix environment.
