The role @ Sumo:

The Customer Support Lead will be responsible for the managing and mentoring of the Sheffield based support team, as well as being responsible for keeping up to date with, and testing new technologies to ensure that Sumo Digital are always operating on state-of-the-art technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and mentoring the Sheffield based support staff.
  • Identify patterns and trends within incident and service requests.
  • Responsible for keeping up to date and testing new technologies to ensure we are always running on the state-of-the-art technology.
  • Overall responsible for configuration and deployment of IT end user equipment and software.
  • Provide Weekly & monthly ServiceDesk statistics to the Head of IT Operations.
  • 3-month success plan will include but not limited to; understanding the business and its needs and reviewing policies and procedures to ensure continual service improvements are made.
  • Work with the Head of IT Operations to review, select and implement a new service Management tool.
