We're looking for a Senior Marketing Data Analyst to work on our go-to-market team. You will be responsible for delivering marketing insights and data visualization solutions for marketing and sales. You must be comfortable working with partner teams, conducting both planned and ad hoc analyses, preparing reports and communicating insights to a variety of audiences. You will collaborate closely across data engineering, data science and business teams to design and implement BI solutions. This is a central role in a company-wide effort to enable data-informed decision making. We’re looking for a full-stack Senior Data Analyst, one who can bridge the technological aspects (data pipelines, warehouses and dashboards) of Subspace with our consumer-facing marketing orchestration.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Interpret and present actionable data insights that will drive revenue growth, customer retention, marketing effectiveness, increase LTV, and profitability
  • Create and implement big data solutions including data collection, transformation and analysis on large databases for marketing purposes
  • Create design solutions for marketing and sales data warehousing
  • Develop quantitative analysis, tools, ad hoc reports, and models to support marketing decision making. Analysis areas might include (but not limited to) acquisition, retention, sentiment, and lifetime value
  • Create and interpret SQL statements, functions and procedures to support application development, reporting/analysis, and data extraction
  • Create and manage Subspace’s online business insights tool, including dashboard planning and creation, using data from different data sources, such as our data warehouse and different APIs
  • Support all departments and teams in dashboard requests based on their business requirements and analytics needs
  • Conduct in-depth evaluation and analysis of different marketing efforts to help derive insights and recommendations
  • Gather information and examine web traffic, social media metrics, marketing campaigns and other activities that will design and create reports for a variety of stakeholders
  • Collaborate with media teams to provide data insights and recommendations for optimization towards marketing goals, campaign ad spend, and campaign funnels across digital channels

What You Bring To The Table

  • 8+ years of relevant experience delivering business intelligence and analytics solutions
  • Fluency with Data Warehouses, SQL and BI Tools (Tableau, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and experience with paid media (automatic bidding, programmatic)
  • Experience using statistical programs (R, SAS, Python, SPSS, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Data Lake (and clustered DBs)/DW/BigQuery
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into business insights
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze and interpret market and consumer information
  • Comfortable working with large volumes of customer data and hands-on expertise in data modeling, report and dashboard design
  • Experience building highly customized reports and developing creative solutions to apply business logic when conventional methods are not available
  • Experience with HTML, Javascript and/or Python a plus
