Our team at Stoic, 4-time BAFTA nominated independent video game company, is seeking a Producer for development of our next project. You will help us take the project from preproduction phase through beta, launch, and live support over a 3+ year timeframe.

As a Producer your responsibility is to own and drive a part of the game and lead a cross-discipline development team through launch into a long-term live service. You are responsible for keeping us focused and connecting the dots. This is a key role that involves a high level of interaction with team members, outsourcing partners, project, and studio leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead with enthusiasm, humility, empathy, honesty, and respect
  • Shape and drive the production for a portion of our game and its live service
  • Extract information from teammates to accurately forecast our trajectory, identify risks, and actively work with the team to address
  • Establish, drive, and communicate the long-term roadmap for the area of responsibility
  • Create highly efficient pipelines for areas of responsibility
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand problems, solutions, and plans and bring pertinent information into planning discussions
  • Set quality targets and drive processes to ensure those targets are being met
  • Use data and analytics to drive decision making and ensure that decisions are made in a timely fashion

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be passionate about helping our team achieve their creative vision.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Production role in AAA games
  • 2+ years of experience developing and executing game project plans
  • 2+ years of experience leading, motivating and driving teams to success
  • Strong logic and communication skills
  • Negotiation, change management, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to successfully partner within the studio
  • Sound decision-making based on data analysis, market knowledge, and personal judgement
  • Assertive and motivated team player with a bias for action
  • High degree of initiative, takes opportunities to make improvements
  • Ownership mentality: accountable, invested in outcomes

While we do have offices in Austin, TX and Seattle, WA, this position will be fully remote.
