The Senior eCommerce Manager will support the long term, profitable growth of our direct, global business through strategic positioning and end to end execution of the website, including promotion and campaign management, refining on site search/filters experience, overseeing product launches, conducting competitive research, and leveraging business analysis. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who can work autonomously and be as comfortable handling details as well as thinking about the big picture. You do not have to be an avid gamer, though you should be avidly interested in where the gaming industry is going.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner cross-functionally on content calendar and digital marketing initiatives for ecommerce, including home page, landing page, email, search, affiliate, performance, and social media to support the brand and business objectives
  • Drive site-merchandising and on-site search strategies, ensuring optimal presentation of product as measured by conversion and average order size
  • Monitor web analytics reporting to increase traffic and site speed, optimize navigation and customer paths, and checkout conversion
  • Build & maintain coupon and promotional codes and ensure that our promotions are adequately represented on the website
  • Implement global currencies for existing product assortment and all new product launches
  • Launch a unique community experience for our members and customers
  • Help manage digital marketing agency and performance programs including PPC, Display/Retargeting and Affiliate, ensuring tactics deliver to goals and drive sales

Nice To- Have’s:

  • Experience working with CMS tools (Django CMS a plus)
  • Experience with Analytics Tools (Google Analytics, Tableau)
  • Working knowledge of eCommerce Platforms: Big Commerce, Demandware, or Shopify Plus
  • Working knowledge of HTML / CSS / JavaScript

Covid-19 Statement: At this time, this role will be remote but you do need to be located near our Chicago (West Loop) office. You may be required to come into the office for some training. As we work on returning to the office, it is optional for the remainder of the year if you would like to come to the office or continue to work from home.
