The job

  • Handle inquiries that range in complexity from β€œhow-to” questions up to involved debugging to track down operational anomalies.
  • Provide in-depth support for SteelSeries software, and act as an escalation path/resource to other agents
  • Manage and create processes for software support
  • Collaborate with software teams to provide feedback on support issues
  • Attend software team meetings as needed and build out a knowledge base
  • Communicate technical issues and solutions to the engineers, QA, sales, and other support team members.

You

  • Familiarity with desktop computer troubleshooting skills; ability to solve problems and determine the root cause of issues
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and demonstrate problem-solving and resourcefulness in obtaining information
  • Interest or experience in the Gaming industry; Knowledge of video games preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships

To really stand out

  • Zendesk admin experience with reporting
  • Experience with software-specific support and troubleshooting
