ROLE:
Digital Engineering Manager
NECESSARY SKILLS:
- Lead a team of Digital Engineers, working with multiple stakeholders across multiple functions
- Grow and build a team in a fast paced, fast growth environment
- Preferred to have experience in a start up or smaller company
- Maintian a good understanding of AWS or other VPS systems, such as Azure or Digital Ocean
- Run daily standups and weekly sprint planning
- Meet with both internal and external stakeholders to provide technical feedback and project estimations
- Gather and document specifications for project and feature requests
- Guide the overall architecture of the codebase and infrastructure
- Run reports for internal and external teams to guide business decisions
- Hold weekly 1-1s with developers
- Provide opportunities for professional development and exposure to new technologies for direct reports
- Manage Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and other business critical tools
- Manage Sentry, SendGrid, and other developer critical tools
- Help guide coding best practices
- Participate in code review
