SUMMARY:

As the SteelSeries Digital Content Producer, you will be responsible for scaling and supporting the brand, campaign, and community content efforts across digital channels-specifically social media. Not only will you be creating content from scratch, but also repurposing content (new and old) for various channels and initiatives across the organization. You will be working within the Social and Community Team in an effort to amplify activity happening across the business: product launches, seasonal campaigns, esports teams, influencers, game developers, retail activations, and more. We’re looking for a true creative who understand business objectives and bigger picture content/brand strategy. Let’s make cool stuff together.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Create and curate content for SteelSeries social media accounts
  • Create, edit, format, and publish videos, graphics, memes, GIFs, and general multi-media assets
  • Lead key workstreams from a content production perspective
  • Oversee multiple projects within your workstream and across campaigns to ensure content productions/assets are delivered on time and in full
  • Build, maintain, and manage key relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Work closely with the Creative Team to constantly evolve and elevate content production/efforts across workstreams and campaigns

PERSONAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Very good communication skills, especially when interacting with different levels of business
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (no two days are the same)
  • Have ”self-starter” qualities in that you don’t need to be told what to do, but have natural intuition to test new things and publish content on your own under our brand guidelines and goals
  • Confident, professional, and calm – works well under pressure
  • Organized and proactive
  • Multi-tasker with initiative, prioritizing team and personal workload
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the gaming industry, pop-culture, entertainment, topical trends, etc. (always learning and adapting)
  • Entrepreneurial experience/attitude a plus

VITAL FEWS / SUCCESS CRITERIA:

  • Confidence in creating content for a brand with millions of fans across digital/social media channels
  • Technical ability to create, edit, and format content for all social media channels
  • Understanding of gaming culture including but not limited to: trends, esports, influencers, products, game (developers)
