ABOUT YOU:

NECESSARY SKILLS:

  • Strong business understanding
  • Strong financial background with a master’s degree in economics
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience as Business Controller
  • Super user of Excel, PowerPoint and can work with large data samples
  • Experience with or knowledge of Thinkcell and databases
  • Accounting and administrative skills
  • Experience with or knowledge of business analysis

Although not a requirement, it is a plus if you have experience with:

  • Microsoft Dynamic Nav

WITHIN 1 MONTH YOU WILL:

  • Settle in and get to know your new colleagues in Business Controlling team currently counting four full-time team members.
  • Get started with the daily management of the designated business units.
  • Strive for better visibility on Sales forecasting and profit and loss statements.
  • Initiate monthly reporting on PL budget vs actuals and forecasting.
  • Getting insight to AR and Provisions.

WITHIN 3 MONTHS YOU WILL:

  • Lead the implementation of new reporting and forecasting structure throughout the region in close collaboration with the rest of the team.
  • Strive for better visibility on business processes and procedures, including month-end and contractual terms of which the business is operating under.
  • AR reporting and take over the responsibilities of customer balances and performance.
  • Sales Provision reporting and take over the responsibilities of regional balances.
  • Ensure better visibility of performance and that the profitability is correctly reflected in the PL.
  • Implementing newly acquired company into the day-to-day business setup.

WITHIN 9 MONTHS YOU WILL:

  • Work closely with the regional business to uncover and clarify business needs and translate your findings into value-adding solutions.
  • Budgeting for 2022.
  • Have grown your business acumen and procedural capabilities and will be ready to gradually expand on business partnering and serve as an adviser for both the company’s financial department and business leadership. You will use research, analysis and experience to develop business and financial recommendations, provide budget feedback, and assist leadership in key financial decisions, meaning that you will play an important role in the company’s economic growth.
