Description
​​We are looking for a full-time Chief of Staff who excels at research, networking, and critical thinking. This person will take leading roles in recruitment, corporate development and market analyses, and strategic project initiatives led by the executive team. The Chief of Staff will work directly with the Chief Executive Officer and other executives to get an inside look at how a venture backed startup goes from concept to launch.
- Act as strategic advisor and liaison to CEO; sounding board for new ideas and initiatives
- Take projects / analysis / presentation and manage / conduct them as needed
- Build develop and support relationships with key stakeholders internally and key partnerships externally
- Attend critical meetings with the CEO, compile key takeaways / actions and ensure follow-up by taking action or ensuring CEO completes required actions.
- Own structure and deliverables for Board and other key meetings, preparing agenda, assigning and following up on action items
- Maximize CEO's reach across the organization. Keep pulse, transfer knowledge and connect dots across functions
- Assist with executive / key strategic hires and onboarding
- Set up regular routines to provide updates on OKRs / KPIs
- Oversee daily operations including managing CEO calendar, setting agendas, generating correspondence, planning and coordinating leadership meetings, and scheduling facilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience
- Familiarity with C-level interactions corporate strategy discussions
- Hyper-growth company experience a plus
- Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Consulting experience with a focus on strategy & operations a plus
- Excellent communicator in written and verbal form
