At Statespace we’re building software that allows gamers to level-up their core skills using neuroscience and data. That means, we’re creating a whole new category of product that is defining the future of esports training, and we’re eager to find talented folks like you to join us.

We’re a team of Ph.D. scientists, software engineers, and game vets coming together from places like NYU, MIT, Nintendo, and Fortnite. Our first product, Aim Lab, helps gamers around the globe practice pixel-perfect flick shots, steady their tracking hand, and make clutch decisions.

If you want to be part of an innovative, data-driven, and game-loving team who are defining a whole new space in gaming, we’d love to meet you.

About engineering at Statespace
We’re looking for smart, self-directed engineers who are comfortable bringing new ideas to the table and can stay calm under the uncertainty of building something totally new. As one of the early hires on the team, you’ll get to play an integral role in defining our engineering processes and culture.

We’re always balancing our efforts between young and mature projects, so you’ll get along great with us if you aren’t afraid to iterate quickly on fresh ideas, but also take pride in running a stable ship on production systems.

We’re an early-stage startup so you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside individuals across the company. We love to promote collaboration so you should be excited to learn about other aspects of our business (e.g., data science, UI/UX) and up for explaining what you are working on to facilitate information sharing across teams.

Working in the game industry is a major perk. We love to play and stay at the forefront of the newest trends by playing together a lot. There’s no need to be a Grandmaster at Overwatch, but a strong interest in games will help provide context to the decisions we make as a company.

Above all else, we pride ourselves on building strong ties to our users and working hard to ship new features to them. If you want your efforts to have a significant impact on what you build and the team you are on, we’d love to hear from you.
