THE OPPORTUNITY

The Project Manager, External Partners is responsible for working with our external partners to ensure good communication and mutual success with them, in Production at Standing Stone Games, reporting to the Executive Producer, this position will be responsible for:

  • Oversee projects with external partners for DDO and LOTRO
    • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive improvements for our games
    • Collaborate with external partners on game initiatives to create additional value for our games
  • Communicate with and for DDO and LOTRO producers, game teams, and shared services
    • Hold regular discussions to update stakeholders on external project status, impact, and needs
    • Achieve agreement around project schedules, roadmaps, and resources
  • Adjust and improve processes of collaboration and execution
    • Evaluate working practices, then suggest and implement changes
    • Identify, communicate, and help resolve roadblocks and bottlenecks

What craft expertise you'll have:

  • Tools/Technology /Knowledge
    • Required: Jira, Confluence, MS Office, Teams
  • Knowledge
    • Required: Prior XP with software platform integration projects
    • Desired: Prior XP w/ External/Outsourced/Co-Development, Understanding of Gamedev, XP playing MMOs especially LOTRO + DDO, Live Service XP

    • Years of Experience: (Minimum) 2
    • Required:
    • Desired: 3+
  • Additionally, you should possess
    • Clear and consistent communication skills
    • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
    • Excellent scheduling, coordinating, and prioritization skills
    • Fluent in both internal and external game development cycles from concept to post release
    • Proven track record of successfully translating highly technical concepts for non technical stakeholders, and vice versa
