Job Summary:

  • Help develop tools and pipelines for content creation, production support and product debugging;
  • Act as an ambassador by becoming a power user of these tools & processes;
  • Use scripting languages such as C# and visual graphs to prototype exotic scenarios that turn into systemic gameplays;
  • Act as a complexity gatekeeper by streamlining workflows and simplifying tools for designers;
  • Provide quick and efficient solutions for day-to-day editor problems and content creation obstacles;
  • Work hand-in-hand with designers to help get their creative visions on-screen;
  • Profile, review and optimize game data and scripts.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Be an advocate for content creation development technology and solutions;
  • Experience in the video game industry;
  • Organized, structured, thorough and conscientious;
  • Strong written and spoken French and English.

Technical Skills

  • Experienced with visual scripting graphs, such as Unreal Blueprint and Unity Bolt;
  • Skilled at reverse engineering and debugging complex problems and systems;
  • Organized, structured, thorough and conscientious;
  • Bonus: Knowledge of programming languages such as C++;
  • Bonus: Experienced with multiple game editors and various production workflows;
  • Bonus: Experienced with technical writing and documentation

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to illustrate ideas;
