Reporting to the Brand Director, as Senior Brand Marketing Manager for mobile games, you will sit across all the titles and be responsible for delivery of the brand marketing plans. You will have impressive drive, high initiative, instinctive collaboration and big picture perspective.

Working on both Tomb Raider Reloaded and our Avatar: The Last Airbender project, plus future titles, you will be a creative and dedicated individual with excellent vision and high standards for strategic and creative output.

Requirements

Key Deliverables:

  • Provide project leadership on strategic integrated brand marketing plans, and the go to market route for both titles, ensuring the launch/post-launch plans deliver innovative ideas for maximum noise in the right place
  • Lead the phased marketing plans partnering closely with UA to learn and optimise, whilst ensuring consistency and success, working alongside product, art, research, stakeholders, IP owners and agencies
  • Ensure you develop a deep understanding of the games, using the relevant features to test creative and improve awareness and installs using both paid and organic methods for global release
  • Accelerate the learnings from an iterative approach both in brand and UA, turning opportunities into commercially successful campaigns that attract existing and new audiences to the product throughout the LiveOps cycles, defining success metrics with confidence
  • Drive integrated ways of working, leading ways to process and align teams around vision, strategy and collaboration
  • Target audience profiling – define, profile and validate the target audience and work with internal and external partners to create something that informs marketing strategies and contributes to product development
  • Partner with creative agencies, managing development and creation plus media and rollout plans for global campaigns
  • Lead, coach and inspire your brand team
  • Pioneer new ways of doing bigger-picture long term successful IP partnerships with brands, companies and thought leaders
  • Track and measure successes for both projects, plus budget oversight
  • Work closely with market research to define the product research phases pre & post launch to gain insights into audiences and creative direction
  • Work with player experience department to define and engage communities, ideally with experience activating those groups with multi-faceted launches and campaigns where community has played a key role

Knowledge & Experience:

Essential:

  • Proven track record of managing multiple game title releases (not necessarily mobile, but preferable) within top tier studios or publishers, showing successful go to market campaigns and strategy including relevant KPIs
  • Highly strategic mind, defining the problem first and looking for golden threads to lead the thinking and execution
  • Track record of bringing products to market on a global scale
  • Experience with creative agencies, campaigns, partners and/or hands-on implementation through assets and rollout
  • High level of skill in all areas of brand marketing for games: product research, audience interrogation and research, asset development, stakeholder liaisons, agency management, team management, campaign execution, market suitability, project management and social/CRM/digital implementation
  • Multiple global external + internal stakeholder management, bonus if included entertainment IPs for new projects
  • A natural leader, with experience and motivation to manage a team as mentor, coach, developing them whilst also managing up to the director
  • Bringing experienced views and practical application of influencer marketing, PR, social
  • Shown ability to work autonomously and drive momentum & results on projects independently, taking the lead and offering solutions whilst balancing business needs
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to project plan with multiple titles, switching tasks but delivering on external stakeholder and internal management expectations in a timely manner

Desirable:

  • Highly extensive consumer marketing experience
  • Big global IP experience – either as stakeholder or as partner

  • Excellent ability to convert needs into processes using modern software
