Then look no further than this exciting new opportunity to join the Square Enix family as a Junior Data Protection Analyst based in the London Office (working from home until the time is right for us to safely return to office buildings!). In this role, you’ll be working closely with the Data Protection Specialist and the DPO interacting with our customers, supporting all areas of the business in data protection and privacy and helping continue to drive a culture of data protection and privacy awareness across our global offices
Job Summary
- Acting as the primary point of contact for all queries and triaging them into the Data Protection & Privacy team;
- Logging, investigating, collating documentation and responding to data protection and privacy rights requests;
- Maintaining the administration of the Square Enix Data Inventory and Data Map registry;
- Maintaining the administration of the Square Enix Records of Processing Activities documentation;
- Overseeing the administration of Data Protection & Privacy training and awareness campaigns (e.g. onboarding and offboarding updates, email campaigns);
- Participating in Data Protection & Privacy Internal Audits;
- Assisting in carrying out Data Protection Impact Assessments;
- Identifying data protection risks and areas of improvement, and
- Providing support, where necessary, for other members of the data protection and privacy team.

Requirements
- Second language, preferably Japanese.
- Data Protection certification (e.g. CIPP/E) or equivalent knowledge.
- Experience in the video game industry.
- Relevant experience in a similar role.
