Analytics & Insight at Square Enix is responsible for understanding user behaviour using data collected from our players, games and marketing channels. The department consists of bright and dedicated analysts and data scientists who provide impactful deliveries across topics spanning game production, marketing, web and sales. Our mission is to enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions, ultimately leading to better games through data insights.

Within A&I, the Business Intelligence team designs strategies to optimise player engagement and to grow our total player base. We focus on answering challenging questions through the analysis of game performance, player engagement, direct consumer feedback and digital channels data. We are now looking for an enthusiastic Data Analyst who will explore and combine large amounts of data from different sources to identify behaviours that correlate with long term engagement with our titles and services. Ultimately, this Data Analyst will support and feed the growth engine of key products and services in the Square Enix ecosystem.

They will deliver and present insightful analysis across multiple topics to support decision-making processes at different levels in the company. The ideal candidate for this role will be curious by nature and have passion for problem-solving; always ready to test new hypotheses and challenging the status-quo of processes and standards. We are looking for someone who will be an astute researcher as much as they are a skilled communicator, and who uses data-backed evidence as their main weapon and business logic as their shield.

This is an integral role in our Analytics & Insights department and represents a great opportunity for the successful candidate to influence and shape the direction of the team. If you have the requisite skills and the ambition to make a difference in a highly dynamic, cutting-edge technology environment, we would love to hear from you.
