Job Summary

Square Enix is looking for a hands-on Assistant Manager, eCommerce to handle various aspects of its Square Enix Store and Members Loyalty program. The position will be responsible for assisting the eCommerce and CRM teams in areas of product merchandising, UI/UX leadership, email marketing, promotion planning, inventory management, PO processing and day-to-day tasks of the digital owned channels marketing team.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Manage daily functions of the Square Enix online Store, including creation of new products, promotion and performance of games and merchandise products and customer lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to gather or create creative assets for new product launches.
  • Assist in producing creative elements for promotional banners, social ad units and emails.
  • Utilize enterprise Content Management System in areas of product, inventory, pricing and order management.
  • Analyze product revenue and growth trends proactively suggesting new ecommerce strategies.
  • Build and own the master content catalogue for Square Enix online store.
  • Curate and format new content for online store; review content to ensure it meets Square Enix standards and fix any style, copy, or layout errors as needed.
  • Ideate and implement seasonal marketing promotions.
  • Support customer service issues and escalations.
  • Support consumer initiatives at gaming trade shows and events.
  • Process purchase orders and various administration functions for the digital owned channels team.

Education, Knowledge and Experience

  • 2 - 5 years experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, XML, CVS, and Content Management tools is a plus.
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop proficiency strongly preferred.
  • Japanese language skills and experience working with Japanese corporations a plus.
  • Active gamer with hands-on video game playing experience on both PCs and consoles with a strong knowledge of online game features such as multiplayer & network gaming, ladders, leader boards, etc. preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, see, and move around the facilities. This would require the ability to lift files/boxes, open filing cabinets, file, bend, twist, stand on stool as necessary. Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
