Sportskeeda is looking for a seasoned content professional to manage and grow its eSports editing team.

• The team is comprised of in-house editors, and freelancers who work remotely. The candidate will be responsible for working with both teams, ensure that the articles being published on Sportskeeda’s Website/App are of the highest quality.
• The team edits and publishes highly engaging sports content from writers across the world. We operate in an extremely competitive environment where quality and being first to market is paramount. The candidate will work towards delivering on our brand promise that Sportskeeda is home to the most engaging and premium sports content.
• Fake news, sensationalism, plagiarism, and unreliable reports are increasing in frequency not just in sports, but across the content industry. The candidate will know how to set up processes and help the team to spot and eliminate these ticking time bombs.

The candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

• Lead a 4-5 member editing team and manage a roster to guide and support the team with any feedback and changes to content for qualitative growth.
• Meet quality targets for accuracy and speed, and continually improve team performance
• Streamline workflow and create processes with a focus on business objectives

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

• More than 5 years of experience in the content industry
• Must have been part of the management team with team management experience
• Ability to work independently and a proven track record of delivering results
• A fast learner with a positive outlook towards a target driven work culture
• Good relationship and stakeholder management skills
