Position at Sports Interactive

UI Programmer (C++) - Mobile

Sports Interactive are looking for an experienced and motivated UI Programmer to implement, enhance and maintain the user interface of an exciting mobile project.

You will be joining a small and focused development team, working closely with a Senior UX Designer, UI Artists, and fellow programmers to bring the game to life using our in-house C++ engine.

Your keen eye for detail and passion for improving UI/UX will be instrumental in taking our existing project to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Lead Developer to maintain and improve existing game user interface.
  • Advise and consult with UX Designers and UI Artists on new UI designs and improvements.
  • Implement new UI systems with a focus on maintainability, performance, and attention to detail.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our internal game engine to understand technical limitations within the design and implementation process.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Expertise in using C++
  • Minimum 3 years full-time, professional UI experience within mobile or gaming
  • iOS/Android development experience
  • Strong eye for UX design
  • Player-first mindset
