Introduction

Sponge Hammer Games is a remote-only video game development startup. We are all about storytelling. Everything around us tells a story. It may be in a form of a book, a film or even a job advert like this one. We believe the right story can influence and change people and even the world. We are working on our first original game, an interactive story-book for children and we need your help!

What is this about?

First of all, the project is great, if we can say so. It’s one of those things that make you smile when you start your day. We are making great progress with it but we need support on the art side of things.

We are looking for a generalist 3D artist which who could model, texture 2.5D environments for a mobile “game”. There’s a bit of VFX and animation work in the mix as well however that’s pretty light. Working knowledge of Unity is a must. Personality-wise the ideal candidate is a great communicator, pro-active and is able to get on with tasks.

This is a contract position, initially 3 months, with the possibility of extension/ full time.
