DESCRIPTION

Splyce is looking for a detailed and passionate Talent Manager with an intense drive to work in esports. You will be working directly with Splyce players, Splyce staff and coaching staff.

In this role you will work closely within the performance department to help manage the full competitive pipeline across all Splyce rosters. You will be working closely with the General Manager to ensure all talent needs are met and fulfill tasks as needed.

This role will also hold an important voice in the discussion of roster changes, entering new game titles and player handling. Knowledge of esports and various game titles is extremely beneficial.

  • Maintain an intimate knowledge of the global competitive gaming landscape (i.e., relevant titles, industry trends, players, teams, etc.).
  • Act as a primary point of contact between players and the organization.
  • Onboard new esports athletes, set and monitor performance goals and management plans
  • Maximize efficiency between departments by ensuring players fulfill requirements.
  • See to player needs and their happiness with the organization.
  • Help maintain standard team related procedures (on-boarding, player negotiations, player auditing etc.)
  • Attend esport events and act as a Splyce representative.

REQUIREMENTS

Ideal Candidate:

  • Has close connections with top competitors in a relevant title or important members of the esports community.
  • US based or valid US working documents.
  • Currently in the Rochester, NY area.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel, including weekends as required.
  • Motivated working in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment, with the ability to balance several projects simultaneously.
  • Confident coordinating with other departments within the company as well as outside partners.
  • Highly organized, personable and detail oriented.
  • A good understanding of the entire esports landscape or extensive knowledge in a single title
  • Experience working with structured teams, either in a sports/esports setting or other comparable environments
  • Experience working with young adults
  • A healthy respect for our players and coaches
  • A great passion for competition and winning
  • A passion for esports and a determination to work within the industry
