Sparkd Studios is a production studio based in Los Angeles, California, that specializes in content creation, talent representation and production in Esports. We have worked with multiple teams and organizations for photo shoots, event coverage, content series and creative staffing. Among some of them: Faze, Gfuel, Epsilon, Splyce, Ghost Gaming and EGL. We also have grown to specialize in Talent hunting and staffing, facilitating the connection of our talented contractors with teams and clients in need of these services.

Job Description
We are looking for someone resourceful interested in working as a recruiter for our studio in Asian countries specifically. We have talent (photographies, designers and videographers) specialized in Esports around the world, but we wish this position to help grow our roster of freelancers and contractors in Asian countries, working directly with our head of Human Resources remotely. This is a good opportunity to grow in talent management and in Esports. The role is commission only and part-time hours.
Responsibilities
- Creatively utilize methods of recruitment that include social media, job boards and referrals;
- Make creative requests in-house of content needed to expand your search and advertise our services to new talent. E.g. Graphics, clips, gifs, you tell us what you need!
- Schedule and conduct telephone or online interviews with potential candidates. You must learn to look for talent with experience in Esports specifically.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates that include Videography, Photography, Motion Artists and Design, focusing strongly on Video and Photo first.
- Preparation of employment contracts/paperwork as instructed by Head of HR once candidates are approved.
Requirements
- Understanding of recruitment methods, or creativity to design your own methods based on experience
- Some background in a recruitment environment
- Must speak English (Chinese a plus, as you will be working with candidates in China and potentially other Asian countries)
- Must have knowledge of esports in general, or willingness to learn quickly about it.
