Snapshot Games is looking for an experienced digital marketing manager to join our Phoenix Point brand. We’re looking for someone with a history of success achieving results on all digital marketing platforms (web, social media, video, etc.) who can both shape and become the voice of Phoenix Point across all consumer and press touchpoints.

Phoenix Point is a best-in-class PC strategy game with a large, dedicated fan base around the world. Later this year, Phoenix Point will be expanding to new platforms and new markets, and the digital marketing manager will be a major driving force in creating and maintaining engagement with the brand. The ideal candidate will be an expert in digital marketing, with a particular focus on paid and owned social media, and will lead our digital marketing efforts with innovative and engaging ideas and the ability to execute them with a high degree of success.

COVID-19 Hiring Update: We’ve transitioned to a work-from-home model and we’re continuing to interview and hire during this time. This role is expected to be remote first, although there may be some travel, both to our offices and to industry events, once it is absolutely safe to do so.

The Role

  • Help drive the digital and content arms of the marketing strategy for Phoenix Point
  • Set processes and work with existing tools (or propose new ones) to ensure information is exchanged among the marketing, community, development and production teams.
  • Pitch and deliver content for media campaigns, including dev Q&As, videos, livestreams, and blogs
  • Manage a small production team to deliver marketing content as required to achieve strategic goals
  • Optimize our digital channels through continued learning and knowledge of industry best practices - competitors’ efforts, paid media KPIs, brand partner input (e.g. Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, Steam, 1st-party console)
  • Analyze and create reports/dashboards on the performance of digital channels versus KPIs
  • Oversee the management of our robust community of dedicated players on our forums, owned social media channels, and occasionally at live events
  • Actively participate in the Phoenix Point community, lead our Community Council, and act as the voice of the community in our internal production meetings

Desired Experience

  • At least 4 years’ experience in digital marketing, with a strong understanding of content and social media; games industry experience strongly preferred
  • Top-notch communication skills, both written and on video
  • Proficiency working with or leading paid social media campaigns
  • Experience working in a tight-knit, efficient organization
  • Strong interest in social media and all things digital, desire to have fun creating content ideas and seeing them executed with excellence
  • Strong experience managing online communities and content portals, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, etc.
  • Experience working remote with teams overseas a plus
  • Experience working with analytics and collaboration tools such as Google Analytics, Coda, Trello, a big plus
