Slightly Mad Studios are looking for a talented and proven Senior Producer to make a unique contribution creating exceptional games for a global audience. As part of the SMS virtual development-professional community, you will have an unprecedented opportunity to help mould and shape an evolving production structure. This is a highly influential role working closely with the Project Development Director to manage the day-to-day and strategic functions of a project. Using your experience to identify and resolve Project Level production issues, you’ll be adept to deliver projects on time and to the highest possible quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Project Planning
  • To work with the Project Development Director to define development processes for the entire project lifecycle, including resource and capacity planning
  • To validate that all documentation required to pass Development Process gateways is produced on time and to the required quality.
  • Review detailed milestone deliverables and ensure they are fully measured, tracked and achieved.
  • Validate weekly Project Progress Reports, including detailed Risk Register and project highlights
  • Report to the Project Development Director and the wider team on progress, budgets, risks and issues.

Team Management

  • Ensure that liaison with other studios and Departments is done in a timely and efficient way to ensure that requirements are defined and delivered.
  • Maintain relationships across internal departments and external companies.
  • To carry out such tasks as may be required by the Project Development Director.
  • Work with game direction team (GDT) and producers to maximize game quality within time and cost constraints.
  • Providing detailed project insights to inform decision making.

Staff Management

  • Regular appraisal, review and objective setting for Producers and Associate Producers
  • Tracking, monitoring and reporting on Project Capacity and forming appropriate strategies to minimize risk.
