SHG is looking for a 2D Artist to join the art and development teams to collaborate creatively and artistically with the LiveOps department to create cinematic level key art images.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Create character concepts, environments and backgrounds.
  • Composite 3D renders onto backgrounds
  • Create Logo and marketing keyart assets
  • Meeting project deadlines/milestones.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with art media, graphic design or equivalent relevant experience
  • 2+ years of experience with high-quality, realistic artwork.
  • Thorough understanding of digital/traditional and Graphic art techniques.
  • Good knowledge of 2D editing tools, Illustrator
  • Good skills using Photoshop (or similar tool) to create textures for 3D assets
  • A solid background in academic drawing, sketching and/or illustration is a major asset.
  • Versatile and prepared to tackle many kinds of tasks, ranging from creative challenges to mass production.
  • Self-motivation, excellent communication and organization skills, team spirit, proactivity.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to receive and provide objective feedback
  • Ability to multi-task and to adapt easily to change.

We also appreciate the following qualities:

  • Animation and experience posing characters
  • Texture painting skills.
