What you'll do:

Define and drive the technical strategy for the Skillz platform
Create best practices, write proof of concepts, and drive the future of our mobile SDKs and client applications.
Work on highly scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems
Evaluate technical designs and ensure they align with the long term technical and business strategy
Coach, mentor, and uplevel engineers across the company
Collaborate with teammates who care about building great products as much as you do

Your Skillz:

5+ years mobile development experience in iOS and Android
Experience planning, implementing and deploying large cross-functional projects
Strong desire to learn and use new languages and technologies
Strong organization and communication skills
Experience with AWS or other cloud provider is a huge plus
