Skillz is looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated, digital marketing professional to join our newly formed Go-To-Market and Enablement (GTME) team within our Global Business Development organization. As a critical member of the GTME team, you will empower the Business Development organization with the knowledge, skills, tools and processes to accelerate sales velocity and productivity. You will leverage your expertise in online media, creativity and strategic vision to create compelling and persuasive sales marketing strategies and assets. You will partner with cross functional teams to develop world-class marketing solutions and programs that meet the needs of our strategic partners. You are an exceptional story teller. What You Will Do:

  • Enable the Business Development organization with the right training, materials and information to meet new user acquisition and revenue goals
  • Become an integral account team member, partnering with Business Development and Partner Management to create strategic account plans that ensure that we’re targeting the right partners with the right solutions and deepening our relationships with our current partners
  • Provide deal support by actively engaging in partner specific opportunities, and creating compelling proposals and sales materials that meet the needs of our current and future strategic partners
  • Build deep endemic knowledge of key verticals to provide market grounded insights to drive product strategy and to create breakthrough marketing solutions for partners
  • Develop strong relationships with Product, Player Communications, Sales and User Acquisition teams acting as a liaison between these cross functional stakeholders and the external partner community

Your Skillz:

  • BA/ BS Required, MBA Preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales marketing at a digital media or ad agency
  • A distinguished track record of working effectively with people across an organization to solve client problems and drive revenue ahead of forecast
  • Proven experience managing multiple accounts/partnerships and monitoring customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated understanding of complex sales opportunity requirements for multiple customers and ability to lead the development of strategy/plans.
  • Proven ability to prioritize work and manage expectations in a highly matrixed, dynamic organization
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Jira a plus
