SK Gaming is a leading esports organization and one of the world’s most recognized brands in competitive video gaming. Founded in 1997, "Schroet Kommando" has grown from a passionate group of friends into a successful esports business with offices in Cologne and Berlin, Germany.
We are currently looking for an experienced Videographer to join our team in Berlin where they would be working closely with our LEC roster and our production team. Our ideal candidate is tech-savvy, maintains their own video and audio recording equipment, and is able to work independently or with a crew.
Main Responsibilities:
- Set up video, audio, and lighting equipment
- Record footage with professional equipment
- Follow direction from the content production team, but also suggest improvements when needed
- Post-production video editing, audio mixing, colour correction
- Equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with the SK content team on easing players’ experience in front of the camera and bringing the best out of them
- Ensure timely delivery of the final video product according to the content schedule
What we are looking for in our new hire:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in filming, production, and post-production
- Experienced in YouTube, various social media, and Feature content formats
- Software savvy with extensive knowledge in video editing, including the Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects)
- Experience working with and bringing the director’s and producer’s vision to life
- Proven track record of successfully working with talent to produce video
- Monitor the condition of the SK equipment including video, sound, lighting, arranging repair and replacement as well as suggesting quality additions within budget
- Strong organisational and archiving skills
- Great communication, coordination, and multitasking skills, detail-oriented, works well under pressure in a very fast-paced environment
- Can work independently or in a team
- Fluent in English
- Flexible and willing to work outside standard working hours, weekends (sometimes) included, as well as to travel to events when required
- Available to work in Berlin or willing to relocate
What would be a plus in our new hire:
- A bachelor’s or higher degree in film or related field
- Experience working in esports
- Familiarity with League of Legends, the LEC, LoLesports in general
- Animation or motion graphics experience
- Knowledge in short-form video trends (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
- Pitch in creative ideas
- Fluent in German and/or French
