We’re looking for a Lead Recruiter with a passion for upholding a high touch candidate experience. This role will support our VP of People and leadership team by ensuring the talent acquisition discipline is achieving hiring goals and scaling as we grow. This role may be located on-site in Los Angeles, or open to remote for candidates on the west coast.

Expectations and Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and leaders to fill headcount seamlessly while the studio is scaling quickly over time
  • Driven by recruiting KPIs and metrics to improve the quality of hiring and with the candidate experience
  • Train new recruiters while providing mentorship and guidance to team members
  • Develop scalable solutions for hiring to achieve S6’s business objectives
  • Create and develop innovative sourcing strategies resulting in exceptional talent hired
  • Identify recruiting trends, leveraging knowledge, data and market intelligence to actively build and grow the talent acquisition discipline
  • Ability to pivot and problem solve in a fast paced environment; implementing solutions and iterating/reiterating on processes for continuous improvement within talent acquisition

Requirements

  • 8+ years of in-house experience in a senior recruiting role
  • Experience hiring across a range of positions, including technical roles such as engineering
  • Ability to quickly generate pipelines across multiple disciplines
  • Align hiring outcomes with hiring managers’ expectations
  • Pride in maintaining timeliness and responsiveness with candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams
  • Ensure the recruiting playbook and processes are upheld as a partnership with hiring managers and leaders
  • Driven by metrics and data resulting in quality across hiring for the studio
  • Bachelor's degree in major areas of study in Psychology, Communications, Sociology, or related field; Or, cumulative experience in talent acquisition

Preferred

  • Passion for games
  • Ability to align a candidate’s career goals with our open positions to ensure longer term retention of talent
  • Meticulous attention to detail and professionalism in working with candidates, hiring managers, leaders, and stakeholders
  • Full cycle recruiting experience, from sourcing to outreach and closing candidates
  • Relevant experience within a startup environment, or with tech companies
