ABOUT SHOCKBYTE
Our journey began in 2013 when our founder, Mitch Smith, owned one of the largest Minecraft networks at the time. With the growth of the network, our infrastructure expanded and we started offering Minecraft server hosting. Today, we are the largest game server host in the Asia-Pacific region and offer support for an ever-growing list of games, including ARK, Rust, Valheim and more.
Our mission is to make it easy and affordable for anyone to operate any kind of internet service at any scale. For this, our primary focus currently lies in extending and developing technologies to make running online services easier.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As one of our Marketing Assistants, you will monitor trends, explore opportunities, organise and manage various campaigns, and produce resources that aid various departments in making decisions in alignment with growing our brand. You'll research, develop and implement innovative marketing plans and strategies to promote and boost the recognisability of our brand and products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Plan & manage marketing campaigns
Research and explore marketing trends and opportunities
Compose marketing and newsletter emails
Create various pieces of documentation detailing the marketing aspects of Shockbyte.
Conducting market research and customer surveys
Record, analyse and prepare summary reports of various marketing strategies to aid in internal decision-making.
Assist in the creation of content for Shockbyte’s blog and accounts on various social media platforms.
REQUIRED CRITERIA
High proficiency in English.
Bachelor’s degree, certification, or training in marketing, business, and other related fields.
Previous work experience in a similar industry or role.
Experience using email marketing and management software (e.g. Mailchimp).
Intermediate experience in using Google Workspaces services.
Strong understanding of SEO.
Understanding of the fundamentals of various social media platforms.
Extensive portfolio of original business, creative, or technical writing.
Strong understanding of business-level writing.
Effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
High attention to detail.
DESIRABLE TRAITS
Intermediate understanding and experience of various marketing analytics software and services.
