POSITION OVERVIEW

The Project Coordinator is a key member of the ESD team; you’ll be working with the Product Launch Administrator to manage the distribution of Steam keys and ensuring that our digital products are secure. In this role you’ll be expected to learn about, maintain and improve SEGA’s key management system (SKMS), as well as maintain our products in the backend of Steamworks. You’ll also play a key role in securing our digital products by conducting anti-fraud sweeps on various market sites and producing regular reports on this. If you’re interested in joining a cutting-edge team that’s ahead of the curve in this area, then this might be the ideal job for you!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be working within the Commercial Publishing team to manage all key activity – from set-up & distribution, to deactivation and tracking.

Daily tasks:

  • Routinely check the key management system (SKMS) to fulfil requests.
  • Sweep the SKMS games library ensuring that all listed apps & packages maintain parity alongside Steamworks.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date trackers for keys that are requested & deactivated as well as for security test purchases.
  • Sweep market sites and conduct test purchases to identify cases of fraud & produce a report on your findings.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Enthusiasm and a passion for video games and the games industry with working knowledge of the Steam platform.
  • Familiarity with basic PC software packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Interest in current gaming trends, especially on PC.
  • Strong organisational skills and good time management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good prioritisation skills.
  • The ability to self-motivate and work using your own initiative.

Advantageous:

  • Previous administrative or database management would be desirable.
