Secretlab’s Brand Experience department focuses on the multiple touch points that Secretlab’s customers, visitors, partners and fans experience with the brand. Whether for our main product and service offerings, physical stores and showrooms, vendor relationships, special or internal organizational use, this department is responsible for creating and maintaining a cohesive Secretlab brand experience, both tangible and intangible.

As a Senior Experience Designer, you are accountable for designing and enforcing a cohesive Secretlab experience across all channels and campaigns. In addition to being a strong multidisciplinary designer with experience in designing spatial, peripherals, graphic and digital, you are objective driven and able to translate exciting, intuitive and emotionally engaging concepts to life. Your primary responsibilities include conceptualising, designing and monitoring Secretlab’s overall brand experience—both digital and physical. We are open to candidates with a background in building brand experiences, branding or communications design.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure on-brand consumer experience and consistency across all Secretlab channels and campaigns. i.e. global website, localised marketplaces, EDMs, packaging, offline activations, presentation decks, etc.
  • Build and maintain Secretlab’s brand guidelines i.e. brand identity, visual merchandising, music genre, material selection, etc.
  • Conceptual design and creative oversight of all related graphic and video content.
  • Execute production-ready files across channels.
  • Draft project briefs with clear requirements that aligns with Secretlab’s branding and campaign objectives. This process includes analysing and deconstructing briefs provided by stakeholders, conducting research, defining objectives and KPIs.
  • Work closely with the Retail and Offline Marketing Specialist to develop both print and digital communication materials and refine the showroom experience.
  • Developing concepts together with the team for events activations based on business objectives and envisioning the consumer journey.
  • Proposing ideas and initiatives that boosts the consumer's experience.
  • Keeping up with current trends in technology, design, art and interactive experience design for best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Design, Spatial Design, Experience Design or equivalent.
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience at a leading brand, or in design consultancies, events or branding agencies with a focus on consumer brands.
  • Proficiency in Adobe suite programs and spatial/prototyping softwares i.e. Sketchup and Figma.
  • Able to glide across several design disciplines i.e. graphic, spatial and interactive media.
  • Outstanding design skills including sketching, typography, ideation, colour theory, use of texture, art direction, visual presentation development and layout.
  • Proven ability to apply these skills in innovative ways that elevate the brand, with a comprehensive knowledge of design/fabrication processes.
  • A strong portfolio or track record in delivering effective and outstanding experiences in e-commerce, retail, packaging, brand peripherals, etc.
  • Knowledge and sensitivity towards the consumer’s experience.
  • Able to prioritise and cope with conflicting deadlines.
  • Excellent time management skills and a sense of urgency; proven ability to work on multiple projects at any given time and takes ownership of all aspects of a project from start to finish.
  • Able to deliver high-quality work on time with attention to detail.
  • Ability to present and sell creative concepts and execute these ideas.
  • Strong conceptual skills relating to brand marketing, campaign development and consumer engagement.
  • Resourceful in getting around obstacles.
  • Sufficient hands-on work experience coupled with some management experience.
