Secretlab is an international gaming chair brand seating over a million users worldwide, with our key markets in the United States, Europe and Singapore, where we are headquartered.

You will be a Regional Market Management & Development Manager (Asia) in our Business Development team, responsible for the management and growth of regional markets (Asia). In this role, you will be expected to lead and responsible for the growth of markets under you.

Our Business Development team is involved with all Secretlab’s D2C growth for non-English speaking markets, including collaborative efforts with world-renowned brands such as Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organisers such as Riot Games for their League of Legends global tournaments.

Responsibilities

Market Management

  • Lead several teams serving non-English speaking markets within Asia
  • Optimize localization efforts (brand building & brand awareness)
  • Lead and encourage critical thinking within each individual market’s team
  • Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of sales operations while maximizing customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for sales planning & growth for each individual market
  • Ownership of individual market’s P&L
  • Responsible for individual staff and team motivation as well as their well-being

Business Development

  • Lead market penetration and expansion efforts
  • Recommend and conduct feasibility studies as well as forecasting for new markets
  • Identify effective business structure and methods for new market entry
  • Sourcing and selection of strategic vendors/ partners within new markets
  • High level vendor relations and management
  • Work with non-English market teams to boost market penetration
  • Manage new markets' entry schedules and hiring of relevant talent to serve these markets
  • Supervise and support local teams in building “in-market” capabilities to scale
  • Act as the conduit for local knowledge between local team and other supporting departments outside of business development department
  • Be strategic, practical and nimble in the execution of market entry or penetration plans

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with strong business acumen and a good grasp of market operations knowledge
  • Experience in managing and growing teams within a startup environment
  • 5-8 years experience in a similar role, ideally with an ecommerce/ digitally native brand
  • Expertise in GTM strategies, entering new markets and growing existing ones
  • Strong understanding of the fundamentals of digital & strategic marketing within the ecommerce landscape
  • Growth-focused with a calculated and disciplined approach in planning execution and spend
  • Familiarity with logistics and customer service required for e-commerce operations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or a relevant field
  • Experience in managing non-english speaking markets
