Job Description

Secretlab is an international gaming chair brand seating over 350,000 users worldwide, with our key markets in the United States, Europe, and Singapore, where we are headquartered.

Being a digitally-native brand, we thrive in the online and social media space—and this is where you come in. You will be joining a world-class marketing communications team responsible for our globally-distributed branded content, which generates 1-2 million daily impressions on our social media.

As the chief content strategist, you will be leading the crafting and execution of our branded content, and telling of compelling stories about Secretlab and our award-winning products through our global marketing and social media platforms.

This role will also involve working with our key global partners such as: HBO (for its Game of Thrones series), Warner Bros and DC (Batman and Harley Quinn) as well as Blizzard (Overwatch); championship-winning esports teams such as OG, G2 Esports, T1, Cloud9 and Team Secret; and the world’s most premier esports tournaments such as the Riot Games’ global tournaments including the League of Legends World Championships, Dota 2’s The International, Valve’s official Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Majors.

Your key responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Take charge of the editorial roadmap—across social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin and more), direct email communications, website copy, blog content, and any other forms of brand content—and oversee the content rollout across multiple channels.
  • You will apply a strong creative view and your strong sense of marketing copywriting to deliver compelling branded content.
  • You will plan branded content that drives our product and co-branded launches, events and all Secretlab-related initiatives.
  • Work closely with our Performance Marketing, Partnerships and Events teams to further optimize our content marketing strategy and campaigns. For example, develop content marketing strategies targeted at driving traffic, engagement, sales; strengthening the Secretlab brand; and overall, suit the needs of our high-impact launch/campaign periods.
  • Lead discussions with our partnerships team and external partners to deliver compelling 3rd-party branded content that elevates Secretlab and our partnerships.
  • Assist with our internal communications efforts to educate and engage your fellow Secretlab colleagues, crucially for launch and high-impact initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Community Team in elevating and boosting content engagement and community outreach.
  • Manage a team of world-class social media specialists.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing communications/content or similar editorial role.
  • Strong storytelling fundamentals and expertise: Are you able to wow an audience with the story of our brand and the success of our products?
  • Working knowledge of all priority social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Linkedin, and live streaming sites such as Twitch
  • Exceptional proficiency in your written and spoken English
  • A tactical mind in marketing/copywriting approach
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple projects
  • A perfectionist at heart with attention to detail
