Quoting our co-founder & Marketing Director, Ian Ang, “There are all sorts of gunpowder all over the ground. We walk over them daily without noticing most of them. We need someone who’s able to identify the good gunpowder, convert them into appropriate ammo to be used as marketing bullets”

Apart from our brand’s initiatives, the Marketing team is also involved in all collaborative efforts with partners including world-renowned brands such as Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organizers Riot Games for their League of Legends global Tournaments.

Responsibilities

Your primary job scope is to identify opportunities, expand on current campaigns, and to execute a myriad of marketing-related activities.

  • Identify opportunities Secretlab is currently missing out on and execute them
  • Expand on whatever competitive advantages Secretlab already has
  • Execute a wide spectrum of marketing campaigns, both always-on and ad-hoc
  • Be the bridge between the different marketing sub-departments
  • Maintain and develop current marketing programs

Our Partnerships team has just signed an esports team. Beyond the basic deliverables, what interesting and practical activities can you think of to leverage on the esports team’s branding to bring us benefits? Perhaps you’d like to propose for the Marcomm team to focus on this for the upcoming week to ingrain this partnership into our fans. Perhaps you’d like Performance Marketing to use this opportunity to advertise towards the fans of this esports team. Perhaps you have a genius physical activation plan that will generate extreme ROI.

Requirements

  • You must have a proven track record of being the carry of a marketing team. It’s a team game, but one person still deals the most damage. Otherwise, you must be very confident in your ability to turn metal into gold.
  • We have assembled a formidable marketing division (Creative, Performance Marketing, Marketing Communications, PR, Partnerships) - you need to bring the know-how to effectively synergize the pieces to our benefit.
  • At least 3-6 years’ experience in a similar Marketing role (preferably in a B2C environment).
  • Portfolio of successful marketing initiatives
  • Passion for the gaming industry
