Being a digitally-native brand, we thrive in the online and social media space—and this is where you come in. You will be joining a world-class marketing communications team responsible for our globally-distributed branded content, which generates 1-2 million daily impressions on our social media.

As the chief advertising and content strategist, you will be leading the crafting and execution of our branded content capabilities in elevating the global Secretlab brand, driving growth, and sustaining Secretlab leadership in the global gaming market.

This role will also involve working with our key global partners such as: HBO (for its Game of Thrones series), Warner Bros and DC (Batman and Harley Quinn) as well as Blizzard (Overwatch); championship-winning esports teams such as OG, G2 Esports, T1, Cloud9 and Team Secret; and the world’s most premier esports tournaments such as the Riot Games’ global tournaments including the League of Legends World Championships, Dota 2’s The International, Valve’s official Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Majors.

Your key responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Take charge of the advertising content roadmap—across social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin and more), direct email communications, website copy, blog content, and any other forms of brand content—and oversee the content rollout across multiple channels.
  • You will apply a strong creative view and your strong sense of advertising and product copywriting to deliver compelling branded content.
  • Delivery: Strategizing, conceptualizing and bringing to life creative briefs, directions and campaign assets.
  • Work closely with our Performance Marketing, Partnerships and Events teams to further optimize our advertising and content campaigns. For example, develop advertising strategies targeted at shaping traffic, behaviour, and sales; strengthening the Secretlab brand; and overall, suit the needs of our high-impact launch/campaign periods.
  • Lead discussions with our partnerships team and external partners such as HBO, Blizzard, and international renowned esports teams to deliver compelling 3rd-party branded content that elevates Secretlab and our partnerships.
  • Assist with our internal communications efforts to educate and engage your fellow Secretlab colleagues, crucially for launch and high-impact initiatives.
  • Manage a team of world-class social media specialists

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6-8 years’ experience as a copy-based creative. You should be an experienced Creative Director with a proven track record leading successful advertising campaigns.
  • Expert storyteller in strategizing and directing the best-in-class creative (art direction and copy) across channels.
  • Working knowledge of all priority social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Linkedin, and live streaming sites such as Twitch
  • A tactical mind in marketing/copywriting approach
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple projects
  • A perfectionist at heart with attention to details
  • Passion for and knowledge of the gaming and esports industries
