Join our fast-growing Playgami team and help us continue building the best SaaS gaming platform ever. You will be working in a team of inner-motivated, ambitious individuals from diverse disciplines and backgrounds who strive to create the world’s best products for game production, operations, and insights while having fun at the same time.

Playgami is Scopely’s internal SaaS B2B platform for games. It offers the tools that help operate our multiplatform games, supports millions of users playing our games daily, and processes the huge amount of data they generate.

Remote:

Playgami project is based in Barcelona, but we are happy to hire candidates who will be working remotely from any other city in Spain, UK or Ireland (remote).

Your role in the Playgami platform:

  • Own the core systems of our main UI project and keep evolving it to be the best in its class
  • Create a world-class library of components to serve as building blocks for the Playgami platform
  • Take responsibility for the quality of what the team creates, helping to establish good practices
  • Deliver code and supporting documentation of the highest quality through good design, attention to detail and system testing on a timely basis
  • Optimize performance of applications for scalability
  • Work in an agile environment where your opinions matter
  • Translate workflows and wireframe designs into functional frontend web interfaces
  • Team up with skilled colleagues that are committed to delivering the best products possible
  • Share knowledge and help colleagues both inside and outside of your team

Your skills:

  • Very good experience in building frontend interfaces for large scale web applications with React or similar
  • Mastery of Javascript-Typescript and good experience in some object oriented language like Java or C#
  • Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility concerns.
  • Team player with good communication skills, someone who is easy to work with
  • Always looking further to keep improving your skills
  • Experience with CI/CD processes
  • High-quality and maintainable code writing
  • Strong computer engineering fundamentals
  • Product Engineering and cloud mindset
  • Fluency and professional command of the English language

Bonus:

  • Experience with patterns, microservices technology, observability and infrastructure as code
  • Significant experience in working with backend microservices
