Scopely's Boulder office is searching for an experienced Senior Producer.
Do you have the business awareness and production experience to drive the execution of the feature roadmap of a game? Scopely is looking for a Senior Producer (SP) to keep players delighted and engaged with our games. This is your chance to work on one of the most exciting and creative intellectual properties in the industry.
As a Senior Producer, you will be responsible for the timely execution and the quality of the feature roadmap. It is a critical role to ensure the game team delivers on business goals to drive player engagement and monetization.
The SP reports to the Executive Producer and works in collaboration with Director of Product, the Product Manager, Deployment Project Manager, Community Manager, CR Manager, CS Manager, Analyst and the game team to manage the development of feature releases, deliver on quality and on time the feature releases and ensuring reliable measurement and reporting of a service that will engage and retain the current player community and renew lapsed players.
What you will do:
- Produce games for iPhone, Android, other smartphones devices
- Work with cross-functional game teams for timely and successful project launches
- Manage the team's day-to-day activities while maintaining close communication with developers to
- ensure they meet deadlines, objectives and quality standards
- Manage the entire game development cycle, from creative concepts to development to release
- Own the roadmap and ensure the timely release and success of the product
- Research and keep up with game market trends, patterns, and customer requirements
What you will need:
- 5+ years of managing cross-functional teams
- 5+ years producer/product experience in online gaming or consumer internet
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; attention to detail
- Strong understanding of project management, software development methodologies with emphasis on agile development
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to motivate your teammates and influence without authority
- Good understanding of social, mobile games; A big plus for having the knowledge of the market, the users and social games
- Highly creative but grounded in best practices
- Must have a passion for games
- Previous start-up experience or small team experience is a plus
