Scopely are on the search for a Senior Producer to work within our Midcore division for a yet-to-be-announced midcore title. This is an exciting, new and unique role working with our co-development partner Pixel Toys. Collaborating with a unique single team approach, where the traditional boundaries between developer and publisher are eliminated.

Responsibilities

  • Work in close conjunction as a counterpart with Sr. Producer at Scopely Headquarters
  • Support the development, refinement and management of various production/development pods meeting the needs of those involved as well as key stakeholders, both within the core game team and outside the core game team
  • Facilitate intra and inter team communication, ensuring timely dissemination of information as well as monitor scope and feedback creep
  • Identifying risks and develop mitigation plans that keep our approved schedule
  • Continuously look for ways to improve pipelines and processes that contribute to the larger product goals
  • Partner closely with Studio Dir, Sr. Producer, Pixel Toys Feature Owners and Pixel Toys Producers to ensure the product is being scoped and managed properly
  • Partner closely with Scopely EP and Sr. Producer to monitor milestone deliverables and track all production plans and schedule
  • Be an overall team player with our co-dev partners and fill the gaps where necessary in production

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated passion for building video games with at least 10 years of experience
  • Expertise in project management techniques and tools
  • Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban and their appropriate usage
  • Demonstrated leadership skills necessary to organise and inspire team members, despite not having formal people management responsibility
  • Demonstrated time management skills allowing balanced focus on strategy, execution, risk assessment, and problem solving
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to deal with changing priorities
  • Optimistic attitude and outlook, committed to being a team player
  • Experience working in a distributed development model, with remote teams, across many time zones and cultures
  • Experience with production/development, whether producer, art manager or engineering
